Air Combat Zone turns the same old, same old stag into an unforgettable event for the groom dogfighting in flight simulators with his best friends and family. They provide a completely unique fighter pilot experience with the thrill of air combat action and a solid focus on everyone having a great time together.
All stag "pilots" take a crash course in dog fighting with a CF-18 Hornet jet fighter. Training includes skills development on PC simulators and a pre-flight briefing. Once trained, they're off into the cockpits of our 4 Hornet flight simulators for practice and a live session of dog fighting.
While pilots and guests are not training or flying, they have full use of our facilities including:
-The ready-room with foosball table, magnetic darts, action packed Hornet DVD's, a comfortable lounge area.
-The conference room for cards, refreshments & catering.
-Access to the flight line so they can watch while others fly their missions and dogfight.
When the stag organizer chooses to include an "Air War" competition, the stag reaches new heights. An "Air War" begins with 4 of the newly trained "pilots" climbing aboard the simulators and starting the battle. Once a pilot has been "downed" they climb out and pass their cockpit to the next pilot in line. Those watching the battle get involved by helping to coach their rookie friends keeping the whole group involved and taking the fun over the top. The battle continues on until it's time for the stag to move on to the remainder of the evening activities.
